Saturday Night Fights

The Mercs and Cygnar battlegroups have decided that a little evening battle would be fun.

Round 1 was all about getting closer.

Round 2, Stryker had his Charger and Sentinel shoot down his Press Gangers. The Avenger helped knockdown some of the Press Gangers before they were shot by the light jacks. Gorman rushes up onto the Sentinel and throws Black Oil on him. Press Gangers then charged the Sentinel. Fiona casts her spell that allowed her Mariner to shoot through obstacles and models to kill Sylys in one shot. Fiona then popped her feat, reducing attack and damage rolls by one die.

Round 3 saw the Cygnar army fall back and change the line of attack. The Avenger scored a direct hit on the Mariner, but his sea legs ability ignored the knockdown effect, and lashing saved Fiona. 'Ol Rowdy maneuvered to intercept the Sea Dogs while the Charger set up a double shot at the Mariner. Fiona's feat negated most of the Cygnar shooting. Both Cygnarian warcasters retreated to the treeline. Stryker popped his Invincibility feat to protect his battlegroup. The Press Gangers stayed engaged with the Sentinel. The Sea Dogs flanked the Cygnar army. Fiona and her warjack escorts moved closer to the Cygnar force. Damage was inflicted, bit no losses yet.

Round 4 saw Rowdy charge into the Sea Dogs he could engage. The Charger moved out to a Caster Assassination attempt, missing poorly twice while boosted. The Avenger charged and stalled the Mariner, while receiving light damage in the next turn. The Sea Dogs ran to engage the Warcasters, sticking them in place. Gorman attacked Rowdy with Black Oil, hitting successfully.

Round 5 had the Cygnar Avenger stall the light Merc Jack and destroy the Mariner. Rowdy moved to engage Gorman. The Journeyman Warcaster took damage, but survived long enough to kill one of the Sea Dogs. Stryker took out his two within reach. However, Fiona's remaining Sea Dogs charged and killed Stryker while she tried to cast spells.

In the end, 4 damage dice blew through ARM 20. The Merc MVP had to be Sea Dogs for their number of attacks an charge bonuses. Cygnar MVP was the Avenger for all of the solid hits on his target with a RAT of 4.
