Grey Knight Codex - Heavy Support

It's been a couple of months since my last post about the Grey Knights.
This time I'm going to cover the Heavy Support choices. There are 6 choices up for consideration, but it's really only 4 options with 3 variations of Land Raiders.

Purgation Squad
These Grey Knights are the Heavy Support/Devastators options for the army. As a free upgrade, 4 GKs can replace the stormbolters and Nemesis weapon with Incinerators. Psilencers and Psycannons are other options to upgrade with. The psychic abilities that they have that isn't part of the Strike or Interceptor squads is Astral Aim. As it sounds, the Purgation Squads are targeting victims without seeing them, if they are within weapons range. It's a handy skill, but is there a use to this skill against Daemons? It's a strange skill for only heavy support units. This might have made more sense if Astral Aim gave the GK a BS of 5, and increased the weapons ranges by 24 inches with a Heavy 1 option. A sniping GK with a Psycannon gives the Purgation Squad a purpose.

Dreadnought
This is the standard GK Dreadnought, with a lower BS and WS than the Venerable Elite choice. Nothing more here, moving on.

Nemesis Dreadknight
I really don't know about this choice. It makes so little sense in the fluff. If it was the Contemptor-pattern Dreadnought, I think the rage would not have been so polarizing. The image of the GK is Terminators taking down huge Daemons, not Mechs replacing the Terminators. It really doesn't fit the imagery that exists, and the model really looks silly.

Land Raider
Land Raider Crusader
Land Raider Redeemer
The only note for the three Land Raider options are the varying number of GK that can be carried: 10, 16, and 12 respectively. What seems odd is that the Psycannon and Psilencer wasn't an option that the Land Raiders could take. This would have given the the LR variants some new life, similar to the Leman Russ options found in the Imperial Guard.

At some point I'll look at the Inquistion allies to the Grey Knights. Stay tuned.
